My Tiny Explorer - Woven Cotton – Little Fabric Boutique

Hello my name is Abbi, I am the artist behind My Tiny Explorer. I live on the South Coast of NSW (originally from the UK) I work in early years childcare as well as looking after my two young and inquisitive daughters.

My artwork is inspired by Australia’s unique and beautiful wildlife and my hope is that it will inspire children to learn more about the natural world around them. Cherishing childhoods full of play, adventure and imagination outdoors.

My daughter Mya loves playing outside and is very curious about nature and wildlife which has been my inspiration behind all my designs and artwork. I started my hobby/ business this March, my Australian Alphabet poster was my first print! And it's grown from there!

My Tiny Explorer now sells a range of nature and wildlife prints, wall stickers, flash card games and now fabrics in partnership with the Little Fabric Boutique. All Aussie themed and encouraging kids to learn about the amazing Australian Wildlife and Flora. I do all the drawings myself at home with colouring pencils. Here’s four random facts about me!
- I spent the first 7 years of my life living in Niger, Western Africa
- I’ve seen rare Amazon pink river dolphins whilst camping in hammocks in the Amazon Rainforest
- I worked in Tanzania with a charity for two years of my life and loved it!

- I have a serious fear of open deep water even though I use to be a rower at University
